Minni’s responsibilities as an Insurance Specialist include following up on outstanding claims, filing appeals, grievances and researching any denials. In addition, she is responsible for communicating with patients about their financial responsibility and working with them to resolve outstanding balances.
Minni began her career in healthcare 16 years ago in a hospital setting preparing medical insurance claims, and performing claims follow-up. Prior to joining P3 she has worked in three different states managing outstanding commercial claims for both physicians and hospitals, performed hospital billing for both commercial and Medicare claims, trained new employees and interns, has participated in large-scale beta testing projects and managed oversight of external EDI system.
As an Air Force spouse, she has lived in three different continents and eight different states and speaks four languages.
Minni has an Associate in Business Administration and a certificate in Medical Billing and Coding.
Minni’s hobbies include reading, hiking, camping and exercising.
